website update 10/30/20
Hi reader,
I would say that I made good progress on my final project and on the website. I first edited all my posts on the website for grammar and content. I heavily focused on the peer feedback I got from last week and made changes accordingly. Next, I focused on if the content and grammar for all the posts were met, and made sure all of the sentences flowed nicely.
Then, I looked at the rest of the arts from my brainstorm post on the website. I decided to remove the Blue legacies by Angela Y Davis, and Who said it was simple, by Audre Lorde, from my final project. I thought both of these arts are very good pieces, but I did not think they would add a ton to the final project. Therefore, the brainstorm list is updated and I have my best six arts to use for the final project. Since I found my best six arts, I started to develop a theme and it is posted on the brainstorming post and is shown below. This coming week I plan to groups these arts so that I can support my theme to the fullest.
Overarching theme/idea: The struggles of being black, especially in America, comes with a myriad of hardships, and one way people can overcome these hardships is by being united with other people going through similar hardships. This creates a bond between many people and brings the idea of the family hood between them, even though they may or maybe know each other.

Good point Raji, I like the way how you are building your final project, where you brainstormed important facts that actually will strengthen your main points and how you develop the six arts you found, and how you will be able to explain that message to the reader. I am looking forward to learn from your final project, I have following your process, and you have actually a good story to tell to readers.
ReplyDeleteKeep going Raj!!
Hey Raji, I enjoyed reading your update. After reading I can genuinely tell you I am very excited to see your final product. I think it's a smart idea to brainstorm and especially go over your previous work more and more. I also like how you are strictly sticking to your theme. In the long run it will save you time knowing not to go off the rails and writing about stuff that doesn't fit the theme, which will just result into a traditional backspace hold. I can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteHey Raji! I enjoyed reading your theme and ideas! I like that you decided to remove pieces of writing that you felt did not work for your final. Keeping this project organized can be very difficult, but from what I have read you are right on track! I look forward to more updated and your final!
